DMG's Building Assessment Report (BAR) is a great tool designed specifically for Landlords/investors of portfolios to identify immediate needs and costs repairs to bring back the building into good condition. DMG provides this assessment report as preventative maintenance as a bi-annual / annual inspection or at the end of a lease term.
DMG's BAR provides turnkey solutions for client's portfolios in two different ways:
- DMG provides the BAR to their Clients so that the Clients own team of maintenance personnel or management company is able to implement the recommended work, OR
- After the BAR report has been completed, DMG's own team of consultants and contractors keep the portfolios on a maintenance schedule to ensure the building remains in GOOD condition over the term its owned.
- This Straightforward approach for the Landlord & Tenant has saved some of our clients millions of dollars at the end of the lease terms by maintaining the investment and the buildings safety.
The BAR includes the following:
- Conduct walk through survey aligned in accordance with ASTM E 2018-01 inspecting all the buildings interiors.
- Evaluate the building and site of immediate needs.
- Itemized cost table of suggested remedies of repairs, replacements & significant maintenance items.
- Comprehensive written and photographic report.
- Report completed within apx. 5-7 days.
